I got thermal nail polish for (myself for) Christmas and I’m utterly fascinated by it. Red is cold, opalescent is warm. I’m going to chip the hell out of it in very short notice but it would’ve been a constant red on my toenails.

Kinja'd!!!

I know I had hot wheels or matchbox cars that did this as a kid. Now I’m googling if it has been done on real cars. I guess it probably wouldn’t look as cool al though I love seeing flow-vis so who knows.

OPI and Maybelene do a good range of colour changing nail polishes.

I don’t know if a manufacturer ever did it, but some people have DIY’d on cars

You should do an oil change tomorrow and show us the results.

Yeah, that’s the one I kept finding. It would be neater if cold was the usual color, I think, rather than dumping cold on to make it change. I  want driving to cause it to change!

I have teeth marks from a cat in the polish on one thumbnail already.

I wonder what happens when it’s cold out?  Does it go dark and then change into the normal color?  Cause that would give the effect you are looking for, at least during the winter.

When I was a kid, Hypercolor was all the rage:

This reminds me of the hypercolor shirt I had back in elementary school.

The cat figured better now before it gets grimy from wrenching.

Nice Nails. I also noticed the lines on your palm. I decided to spend a few seconds learning how to read palms and then read yours.

So from what I can tell, you’ll have a long life, but you’re gonna encounter a serious health problem at middle age that you’ll recover from.

And there will be some regular life difficulties on the way.

And you have a love of travel and adventure.

Oh good point. It would look pretty neat in the rain too.

Sounds good enough to me! That means the life line is stronger than the scratches all over the back of my hand, which indicate the preliminary attempts at my murder.

I lived through that era but somehow never heard of these until now.

They were briefly (like maybe for a year) extremely popular where I was. And then they disappeared suddenly.
